New skills, new atti­tudes, new measurements

Bill Drayton, CEO and Founder of Ashoka, knows all about global entre­pren­eur­ship. And he believes that the new found­a­tional skills in edu­ca­tion should be soft skills, such as empathy, ini­ti­at­ive and teamwork.

He says that edu­ca­tion isn’t geared up to these skills…a shift in atti­tude is needed — in the ways that soft skills are pro­moted, and how they’re assessed; the old ways won’t do.
