EAST
Everything we do is based on BBM, and we apply it using EAST, a process that helps you Explore, Assess, Shift, and Transform barriers.
Here’s how it works:
If you’re new to BBM you’ll want to use this stage to find out more about it.
BBM Info tells you everything about how we break barriers, and what you can achieve.
BBM Foundation is the introductory programme – an enjoyable, information-packed day that guides you through the barriers, and gives you plenty of simple tips and techniques for applying BBM to your life.
Already familiar with BBM? You’ve a current challenge to address?
The Explore stage is when you remind yourself of each barrier, and reflect on how it could be impacting your current situation. Always consider all 5 Barrier Profiles, to ensure you don’t make assumptions…the biggest barriers can be the hardest to spot!
At the Assess stage you’ll identify exactly where each barrier is showing up in your life. If you’ve already been on BBM Foundation you’ll know how to do this — if not, now’s the time!
As you Assess you’ll ask and answer a lot of questions, to prod your thinking about your situation, to identify the barriers that are holding you back, and to design the solutions to break through them.
The most powerful way to do this is to read, “Barrier Breakers: Be Yourself Brilliantly!” and also use “The Journal” that accompanies it, so you can track the changes you make. Use The Journal every time you have a new challenge to resolve.
If you’d like coaching to help you assess your situation, create your action plan, and track your progress, please get in touch.
Now that you’ve identified the barriers you can take action to Shift them. We’ve several options to help you:
BBM Applied: you’re eligible for the four BBM Applied programmes once you’ve completed BBM Foundation. These are focused sessions on breaking barriers to Communication, Leadership, Creativity, and Change that give you powerful techniques to apply to your personal and professional life.
Look out for Barrier Breakers Associate trainers. They run all kinds of programmes but have one thing in common — they’ve been trained by Barrier Breakers and their programme has been approved as a great vehicle for soft skills development. This means you get twice the benefit – mixing an activity you enjoy with the soft skills you want to develop. And, if you like, Associate Trainers can give you BBM data to prove the progress you’ve made. So, if you do any training, it pays to find out if the trainer is a Barrier Breakers Associate trainer!
BBM training gives you powerful barrier breaking opportunities. You’re in control of what you transform, the way you do it, and how much you change at any one time – and Barrier Breakers trainers will support you throughout.
Like anything, BBM is more effective the more you use it. Keep topping up your skills levels and keep the transformation permanent:
