BBM Diagnostic
BBM Diagnostic is based on a four-stage process – EAST.
Here’s how it works:
We start the EAST process by exploring your challenge with you, to find out what the issues are, what you want to achieve, and by when. We then design the BBM diagnostic process to suit you and your goals.
If you’re new to BBM you might want to do some of your own exploring at this stage:
You can
- learn about BBM
- look into our consultancy approach
- go on our introductory training programme, BBM Foundation
- read “Barrier Breakers: Be Yourself Brilliantly!”
At the Assess stage we drill down into the specifics of your challenge, using various techniques to collect data from everyone involved.
BBM provides a unified framework, based on 5 lenses, that makes it easy to relate data even when it’s gathered in different ways (such as questionnaires, workshops, interviews, and observation) and from diverse sources. This means you get a clear picture of where barriers are located in your organisation, and what impact they’re having.
Once the information is analysed we can produce a tailor-made action plan for you.
This is where the action happens!
Every action plan is tailored to the specific circumstances, but here are some key components:
BBM Foundation: the BBM introductory programme. It’s information-packed and thought-provoking, as well as non-confrontational and lively…a stimulating starting point for everyone you want involved. This also works well as a stand-alone team building session.
BBM Applied: four programmes that dig deeper into the crucial areas of Communication, Leadership, Creativity, and Change. You choose the one most relevant to your challenge; your team can go on an open programme, or we can run a session tailored to your needs.
Bespoke training:If you need a specific soft skills issue to be addressed we’ll tailor the BBM programme accordingly.
Trainer training for your in-house trainers. With your in-trainers licensed to run Barrier Breakers programmes you’ll have on-going soft skills development embedded throughout your organisation.
Your trainers can also become Barrier Breakers Associate Trainers, which means we assess their training activities for soft skills content, and they can produce BBM data as evidence of development. So their training becomes a soft skills development opportunity – your participants get double the benefit and you get double the return.
Executive Coaching: Our coaching programmes are built around the BBM framework, so they fit seamlessly with other parts of any action plan.
During this final stage we collate the BBM data that’s been gathered.
Then we evaluate results and produce reports, make presentations, offer recommendations, devise and execute soft skills strategies, and plan the review progress.
If barriers are blocking your progress, get in touch and let us put BBM to work for you.
