Report Service
BBM is innovative and unique, yet it’s also highly practical; it’s research-based, yet has a proven track record of effectiveness in practice as a powerful monitoring and evaluation tool; it works with complexity while being straightforward, user-friendly, and accessible. BBM underpins all our consultancy work, and is the methodology in our research and evaluation projects. If you would like us to put BBM to work for you — whether that’s a simple report based on BBM assessment data from one trainer’s activity, or a complex organisation-wide analysis of communication channels — our BBM Report Service will produce incisive results and recommendations targeted precisely on your specific issue.

Here are some examples of longitudinal projects using BBM:
RSA Report
Researched and written for RSA, “How to Access and Manage Creativity in Organisations” is based on 35 interviews with industry leaders.
Creative Renewal
In this pan-European project, soft skills needs of UK creative industry organisations were assessed and then measured against the outputs of the commissioning organisations. The process included the design, distribution and data-collection of questionnaires for 4 respondent groups (250 individuals); 40 one-to-one interviews; 8 focus group sessions, 3 workshops. All elements were based on BBM and produced quantitative and qualitative data, from which the report, recommendations and work placement protocols were designed.
Fairplay: apprenticeships in the creative and cultural sector
In role of evaluator & critical friend, we evaluated the assessment process of and measured the barriers to soft skills development in the UK’s Pre-Apprentice training programme. BBM provided the structure within which materials and process were evaluated, interviews were conducted, and the final report and recommendations were framed.
Creative Partnerships (CPLN): Overcoming barriers to connectivity
We investigated how and where barriers were encountered before and during CPLN’s work, the impact of the work on the learning environment, and whether changes was sustainable. BBM was used in questionnaires for 3 respondent groups (40 individuals); 20 one-to-one interviews; 2 workshops; and as the basis of the final report and recommendations.
University of Plymouth: Teaching for innovation, creativity and enterprise (Icehouse project)
In role of critical friend to the IceHouse Project, we’re currently overseeing the integration of ICE into the teacher training programmes at the University of Plymouth and associated colleges. In addition, BBM is the methodology for a research project to diagnose any barriers to the effective implementation of ICE.
