It iden­ti­fies the soft skills devel­op­ment oppor­tun­ity your work provides, so you can pro­duce quant­it­at­ive data as evid­ence of the real dif­fer­ence it makes to par­ti­cipants, and then build on this.

Entry require­ments:

  • BBM Found­a­tion
  • 3-part applic­a­tion process:
  1. Apply here
  2. Once the applic­a­tion is approved we’ll send you an “Activ­ity Ques­tion­naire” to com­plete, to determ­ine the BBM Frame of soft skills offered by your activity
  3. Finally, con­tact us to arrange an inter­view (in per­son or by Skype), so we can review the Activ­ity Ques­tion­naire, dis­cuss your plans, and final­ise accreditation




What you get at the end:

  • Accred­it­a­tion and cer­ti­fic­a­tion as a Bar­rier Break­ers Asso­ci­ate trainer
  • 2-year renew­able licence to deliver and pro­mote your activ­ity as a BBM Endorsed Activ­ity, and to use rel­ev­ant Bar­rier Break­ers intel­lec­tual prop­erty (Find out more about re-licensing at Train­ers FAQ)
  • Use of BBM assess­ment materials
  • Trainer’s Manual
  • Mem­ber­ship of Bar­rier Break­ers Train­ers Network
  • Access to train­ers’ area and resources on Bar­rier Break­ers website
  • Option to use Bar­rier Break­ers Report Ser­vice (for more detailed ana­lysis and present­a­tion of your BBM data)

  • £400 +VAT (com­pany funded)
  • £300 +VAT (self-funded & small charities )
